About

Quick Action Mechanisms (Q.A.M.) have broad applications in many industries. This team of senior engineering students was tasked with researching these mechanisms and applying them to Furniture Design. The use of Q.A.M. has been utilized in small homes and apartments to increase the functionality of furniture while decreasing the spatial footprint. 

The TCNJ A.Q.A.M team is passionate about delivering a high-quality project that reflects our dedication to excellence. We are constantly innovating and collaborating to ensure the project's success. Our commitment to creativity and ethical practices sets us apart.

Project Goals

This project aims to research Q.A.M. and apply them in furniture design.

 

This team will face challenges related to safety, ergonomics, aesthetics, functionality, durability, feasibility, and cost.
