Quick Action Mechanisms (Q.A.M.) have broad applications in many industries. This team of senior engineering students was tasked with researching these mechanisms and applying them to Furniture Design. The use of Q.A.M. has been utilized in small homes and apartments to increase the functionality of furniture while decreasing the spatial footprint.
